The Location 
Griante is approximately 23 kilometres north of Como town is a bustling town that offers much in the way of nightlife, with many bars open until late in Tremezzo and Menaggio (both neighbouring towns), and many restaurants specialising in typical 'cucina Lariana', which includes many fish dishes using fish freshly caught on the lake.
In the nearby town of Lenno there is a lido with exclusive beach (sand) is a popular place in the day for beach lovers, and equally as popular in the evening when it is transformed at sunset into a plush bar ideal for aperitif and then into the evening to a stunning restaurant.  For sports lovers there is ample choice with tennis, golf (3km) and horse riding (4km) close by whilst further a field there is windsurfing (15km) and Ski Resorts (100 - 150 km).
